In our work with over 9,000 girls in Southeast Michigan, we recognized a need for professional skills training tailored for young women.
That’s why we created our “360” programs – a collection of training experiences to help young women develop business & philanthropy skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.
Young women interested in joining our Teens in Training can learn more below and click the button to apply!
Our emerge360 program is a business certification program to equip young women with confidence and professional skills.
Teens in Training start at level 101 and work their way up to 301.
This hands-on training develops the skills young women need to confidently enter the workforce.
The first level of emerge360 introduces teens to the retail environment and the basics of professional behavior and etiquette.
After completing 101, teens are ready to dive deeper into the business world. This level focuses on business communication skills and marketing plans.
After successful completion of 101 & 201, teens are ready to learn about business finances, governance, and networking, and provide leadership to other teens.
fly360 is a 10-week summer program that introduces teen girls to female leaders in Michigan while providing hands-on leadership, business, and philanthropy education.
Our daughters need high self-esteem and to know they are worthy. We are all equipped with special gifts and talents. This is a great support group for girls. May Jesus continue to lift you up. God bless.
“Building self-esteem and philanthropists are values we need to instill in our future community of women. Confidence and generosity are necessary traits that The Closet by A Beautiful Me can teach in our community.”
“The Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce supports The Closet by A Beautiful Me and we believe this new project is worth investing in. Others should invest in our youth and future business owners.”
The vision of A Beautiful Me has continued to grow over the past 10 years to reach girls in seeing their value made in the image of God. As the pastor of Mosaic Midtown Church, in which Karen Palka attends, I am encouraged to watch spiritual development being fostered within young ladies through the new project, The Closet by A Beautiful Me.
Volunteering at The Closet is a great way to learn and experience new things in life. Before I was working at The Closet, I was so shy when talking to people. After a couple of weeks volunteering, I could talk to people better than I could before, and I was helping ladies pick out their dresses!
