In our work with over 11,000 girls in Southeast Michigan, we recognized a need for professional skills training tailored for young women.
That’s why we created our “emerge360” programs – a collection of training experiences to help young women develop business & philanthropy skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.

Our daughters need high self-esteem and to know they are worthy. We are all equipped with special gifts and talents. This is a great support group for girls. May Jesus continue to lift you up. God bless.
“Building self-esteem and philanthropists are values we need to instill in our future community of women. Confidence and generosity are necessary traits that The Closet by A Beautiful Me can teach in our community.”
“The Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce supports The Closet by A Beautiful Me and we believe this new project is worth investing in. Others should invest in our youth and future business owners.”
The vision of A Beautiful Me has continued to grow over the past 10 years to reach girls in seeing their value made in the image of God. As the pastor of Mosaic Midtown Church, in which Karen Palka attends, I am encouraged to watch spiritual development being fostered within young ladies through the new project, The Closet by A Beautiful Me.
Volunteering at The Closet is a great way to learn and experience new things in life. Before I was working at The Closet, I was so shy when talking to people. After a couple of weeks volunteering, I could talk to people better than I could before, and I was helping ladies pick out their dresses!
